(Juhi Aishwary, Journalist): Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jaganmohan Reddy has urged Foreign Minister S Jaishankar to fly direct flights to Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada and Tirupati airports for stranded people in Kuwait and other countries. 

CM wrote a letter written in this context to the External Affairs Minister. In this letter, he has also praised the Vande Bharat Mission by the Government of India for bringing back people trapped abroad. He has also urged the Foreign Minister to hold talks with the Kuwait High Commissioners in this regard at the earliest and fly direct flights to Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam, and Tirupati for those stranded there. Along with this, CM has assured that the state government will also keep testing, quarantine facility ready for those returning from abroad. 

Let us know that under the Vande Bharat Mission on behalf of the Government of India, work is being done to bring the stranded Indian to India from May 7. The government also announced that it will bring back 14 thousand 800 Indians from 64 flights back to India. Currently, the second phase of the Vande Bharat Mission will run from May 16 to May 22. In which 149 flights and feeder flights will also be run. In this, Indians from 31 countries will be brought back to India.

The third phase of the coronavirus lockdown is going on in the country. At this time, the number of people who have died from this virus has reached 2500 whereas the number of infected people has reached 7 thousand. There is no cure for this virus spread from Wuhan, China. So, for its prevention, social distancing is being followed. This is the reason why a lockdown has also been imposed in the country. Not only India but the whole world is battling this virus.
