A BMC official said, if needed, Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari will be tested in the coming days. According to BMC officials, two of the 16 employees of Raj Bhavan were found corona positive about eight days ago.

Subsequently, around 100 staff members of the Governor’s office were tested at the JJ Hospital in the state on Saturday. BMC officials said that corona reports of about 14 people out of 100 came positive. Now 16 Raj Bhavan employees are infected. Earlier it was reported that the Governor of Maharashtra, Bhagat Singh Koshyari, had isolated himself, but later he made it clear that he had not been isolated.

In India’s most affected state Maharashtra, 8,139 new cases of corono were reported on Saturday and 223 people died. For the first time in the state, more than 8,000 patients came in a day. The total number of patients in the state increased to 1,46,600.
